GET TOGETHER- REBUILT, REDEEMED,AND REPAIRED

GET TOGETHER-   REBUILT, REDEEMED,AND REPAIRED

   Isa 58:12 Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

(NKJV)

aOne of my favorite areas of ministry is here in Hamilton at the Hamilton A&I Correctional Facility.  I must admit that I get a whole lot more out of going out there than I give.  Most of the time my night to go out there is the first Saturday of the month. They have a Praise Team out there that in my opinion is really anointed by the Holy Spirit.  And to be honest all of those guys are very talented as well.  They have such joy in serving and every time that I go out there it is a time of great healing for me.

Perhaps because it is on Saturday night and when the guitars begin to play every once in a while, there will be a twang that reminds me of when I used to go to the nightclubs on Saturday night and the lonely nights that I spent in a lot of them while all the time putting on a good front. Perhaps it is sometimes the strains of the guitar take me back to sitting in my house alone listening to the rock music of the seventies and trying to medicate the pain with the drugs.

Then when I look around at the men who will not be going home after the service I am thankful to the Lord for allowing me to live on the outside. It helps me not to gripe or complain about some of the minute challenges that come with ministry and in life.

All of us have been broken in some way. Most of us have hurt someone with our sin and have been hurt by someone else’s sin and our own sin.   God is in the business of healing. Jesus came to do just  that : Lu 4:18  “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to  the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;

 Many times our healing comes when we begin to pour ourselves into the lives of others.  We become more thankful. We realize that God has had His Hand upon us even when we were not serving Him. He was protecting us until we could come to that place and say yes Lord I will serve You.  My prayer for you is that you know that He is ready to redeem every part of your life.  He is ready to repair and to restore.  The Bible tells us that He redeems the time: Eph 5:16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.(NKJV)  Let Him redeem,repair, and restore you completely. He won’t do a shabby job.

Let Us Pray

Lord today we thank you that You are the God of Restoration. I speak and release through the Holy Spirit restoration, rebuilt lives and time redeemed over all who read this today.

In Jesus Name

Amen

Love you all. God loves you more than I do.

Your Friend/Kinfolk
